1. Visa on Arrival (VoA) – For Most Nationalities
Most travelers can get a tourist visa upon arrival at:

2. Who Must Apply for a Visa Before Arrival?
Citizens of the following countries must obtain a visa in advance from a Nepalese diplomatic mission:

Afghanistan, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iraq, Liberia, Nigeria, Palestine, Somalia, Swaziland, Syria, Zimbabwe

3. Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) – Optional Pre-Arrival
You can pre-apply for a visa through the Nepalese Embassy (e.g., in Ottawa), especially if you prefer avoiding queues.
