You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, where one of our team members will pick you. He will take you to the hotel and quickly brief you about the day program. In the evening, you will meet with other team members over a welcome dinner organized by the company. Later, end your day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel.

After having breakfast, you go on a guided tour of Swayambhunath. This site is also known as Monkey Temple. You have to walk on numerous steps to reach the temple as it is situated on a hilltop. Later, you will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, also known as Basantapur. Here, you get to see ancient palaces, temples, shrines, courtyards. Around the palace, you can see many street vendors selling handicraft items and delicious food.

Today, you will visit Patan Durbar Square, a medieval palace that presents centuries-old art and architecture. Around the durbar square, you will see many handi-craft stones. Likewise, you will visit the museum, where you get to see old paintings, dresses, weapons, etc.

Today, you wake up early and visit the holy Pashupatinath Temple and then to the largest stupa of Nepal, Boudhnath Stupa. After exploring these two monuments, you drive to Nagarkot enjoying countryside views. From Nagarkot, you get to see stunning views of snow-capped mountains. You will end the day, soaking in a beautiful sunset.

Today, you drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, you will visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. It is one of the three durbar squares and offers precise architecture. Here, you will get to see the old palace, courtyards, temples, and shrines. Make sure to try the famous Juju Dhau here. Later, you continue your drive towards the hotel.

It is a free day in Kathmandu. You can visit the places you want to visit and the local market. Dine-in a cozy cafe or lavish restaurant, do shopping and buy souvenirs. In the evening, you will have a farewell dinner organized by the company with all the team members.

Today, you return back to your home country. Our Airport representative will escort you to the Tribhuvan International Airport and drop you at the terminal gate.

Best time to go on Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

You can go on the Kathmandu Tour throughout the year. However, March to April and September to November are the most preferred time to go on this tour. The clear sky and moderate climate make the tour pleasant. June to August is not a good time to go Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour as the heavy rainfall might result in the closing of temples and slippery paths. Similarly, December to February is also a good time to go on Kathmandu City Tour, however the views from Nagarkot might not be clear due to fog.
